east

When Metrovation began investing in the Jack London area of Oakland in the 1980’s, we helped spark its revitalization by bringing in the first corporate headquarters and some of the first major retailers.

While continuing to develop the Ironworks District east of Broadway, we found an opportunity to enhance the developing residential neighborhood across Broadway.

Our newest project, west of Broadway, is in the historic Waterfront Warehouse District of Oakland, whose early history and architecture is characterized by the warehousing and industrial activities that developed adjacent to the Port of Oakland a hundred years ago.

Two Metrovation office buildings west of Broadway – 318 Harrison and 220 Fourth Street – are nearby.

200 Second Street Condominiums | Oakland, CA

200 Second Street is a mid-rise luxury residential condominium project in a prime location of the Jack London Square district.

The project consists of 74 condominium and live-work units designed around a richly landscaped entry courtyard. The light-filled glass and steel frame building includes a dramatic glass staircase and double height elevator lobbies.

Parking is stacked at offset levels and embedded within to allow plenty of space for active uses at street level and a higher first floor.

200 Second Street is at the heart of the Bay Area’s transportation hub. Residents walk to BART, Amtrak, and local bus lines. The Oakland-Alameda ferry to San Francisco is close by. Project plans include our own City CarShare location and ample bicycle storage for cyclists who will access the West Oakland Bay Trail at the entrance to our condominiums.

Our project will foster the energetic 24/7 environment growing around this urban area.
